Daily operations management including planning, financial management, training, product development, marketing and administration for $8 million USAID-funded microfinance program.
Selection and preparation of the local staff to assume key management position for FINCA/Samara program.
Implement sound policies regarding liquidity and financial solvency with the goal of reaching operational self-sufficiency.

Major Accomplishments:
Succeeded in growing the outstanding loan portfolio from $381K in May ’01 to over $3 mil in March ’03 and the active client base from 820 clients in February ’01 to 2, 504 in March ’03.
Expanded the program to eight new towns in Samara region and to neighboring Orenburg and Ulianovsk regions; opened four new satellite offices.
Developed and implemented marketing strategy.
Developed and diversified Individual Lending Program:
- Active Individual Portfolio growth from $6,439 in February ‘01 to $2,282,823 in March ’03;
- Active Individual Clientele growth from 12 clients in February ’01 to 1,483 clients in March ’03;
- Introduced parallel, seasonal loan products and credit line, and system of discounts for long-term borrowers and clients- recruiters.
